Quest Spiritual Companions

Each participant will be partnered with a Spiritual Companion, a person considered by the Quest leadership to have specific skills, wisdom and maturity, particularly highly developed interpersonal skills and a willingness to spend the time necessary to provide support to someone else.

Quest Spiritual Companions are volunteers who agree to walk together with a Quest participant (or two) throughout their process, helping by listening, mirroring, and being present for their partners.

What does this involve?

There is one training workshop this summer, and then there would be one meeting per month with your partner, as convenient for both of you, for the duration of the Quest program.

What qualities are needed?

Primarily, the ability to be present for another and to listen well is essential. Wisdom, and maturity gained through a conscious search for your own spiritual path, and deepened through a daily spiritual practice, are found in people best suited for this important role.

What are the rewards for doing this?

Growth through being of such service to another, plus your own learning and joy that comes from sharing in the spiritual journey of another, as well as in the companionship with the other Spiritual Companions and Quest facilitators.
